Shazam 2 director reveals if Black Adam volition appear in the DC movie
Shazam 2 director David F. Sandberg has revealed whether Black Adam will appear in the DC continuation.
Responding to a interrogation on Instagram about whether Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who plays Black Adam in the DCEU, will appear in Shazam 2, Sandberg said: "No, he has his own movie." (Translation via Comic Book)
Black XTC and Shazam 2 are both currently filming. In the pages of District of Columbia Comics, Black Adam is a regular nemesis of Billy Batson's, which has sparked some speculation among fans that Johnson's lineament could crop up in the Shazam sequel. Of course, Sandberg's answer doesn't rule out Black Adam appearance alongside Billy and co. at roughly point in the future (and a deleted scene from Shazam even excited Fatal Hug dru), but IT seems, for in real time, the cardinal will remain separate.
Sandberg recently unconcealed a first look at Billy's new costume in Shazam 2, which is formally titled Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Shazam 2 sees the return of Asher Angel Eastern Samoa Truncheon Batson, while Levi again portrays his experienced self and superhero spay ego. Jack Dylan Grazer is besides back as Freddy Freeman, while new additions to the drift understand Lucy Liu and Helen Mirren arsenic the villains Kalypso and Hespera, respectively. West Side Story genius Rachel Zegler also has a mystery role.
